Fargo team members and residents collected school supplies to help our local youth be prepared to succeed in the upcoming school year. All donations were given to the United Way of Cass-Clay as part of their city wide, annual school supply drive.
Each year, the United Way of Cass-Clay collects enough school supplies to fill thousands of backpacks for area students. With full backpacks in hand, students grades K-12 can stair their school year with confidence and with all of the right supplies to focus on what’s important – learning.
Last year, the United Way gave 5,800 backpacks of supplies to local students. This year, their goal is to impact over 6,000 children.
We are excited to announce we collected 2,059 various school supplies from markers and pens to rulers and of course backpacks.
The GOLDMARK team is always excited to support the United Way and their mission in our community. We all look forward to the upcoming events such as Day of Caring and our own United Way campaign fundraiser.
