Bismarck Team Volunteers at ARC Thrift Store for Day of Caring

Bismarck team members took part in the Missouri Slope Areawide United Way’s annual Day of Caring by volunteering at the The ARC Thrift Store

On one single day, over 1,000 region-wide volunteers work with United Way partner agencies and other organizations helping neighborhoods in need throughout the Bismarck-Mandan community.

GOLDMARK sent 15 team members to Bismarck’s ARC Thrift Store to help sort and organize donations. Together, they sorted through almost 200 boxes of donations. While some items stayed in the store to sell, other items were bagged up and put into a semi trailer to be sent to mission where it will eventually get sent overseas to families in need.

Everyone loved getting out of the office for the day to make a difference in the community. They enjoyed volunteering with team members that they don’t normally work with on a daily basis. It was a great way to get the team together as a whole and to positively impact the community.
