The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty which we know can create additional stress, anxiety and fear. We are committed to protecting the health and well-being of our communities, and we want you to know we are here for you. Please know, we continue to monitor the information as quickly as it comes out to be in the best position to serve you, our residents.

As the virus spreads, someone in our communities may test positive. At this time, Goldmark is not aware of any residents within our communities who have tested positive for COVID-19; therefore, we wanted to let you know how we will proceed should we be notified. In the event a resident informs Goldmark they have tested positive, the resident will be advised to follow the advice of health officials, including observing an isolation period.

In the event we are notified of a positive test, we will notify you that there is a case in the community. Because of privacy laws, no one associated with Goldmark, or our contracted service providers, is at liberty to disclose any identifying information of the affected resident.

Out of care and concern for you, we are urging all residents to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and state and local officials for guidance on precautionary measures, including hand washing, social distancing and self-quarantine. We know that the spread of the virus is due to person to person contact, so the most effective thing you can do is limit your exposure by staying home.

Our staff has given great attention to cleaning frequently touched building components such as handrails, door handles, entry ways and elevators, and we will continue to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus and flattening the curve.

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, please seek proper medical advice and refer to the CDC or your local health department for information on how to proceed.
