Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance of assigned properties in a cost-effective, timely manner, contributing to resident satisfaction and retention. They provide exceptional customer service and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining a professional image at all times. They ensure the attractive appearance of all buildings and grounds.Knowledge in various areas of electrical, heating, plumbing, appliance or general repairs. Normal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with periodic "on-call" rotation during the weeknights and weekends. Must have a vehicle, valid drivers license, and own basic hand tools. Must be a self-starter, effective communication skills, and able to troubleshoot.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
EPA or HVAC helpful
Experience Level:
Prefer 1-2 years building experience in areas of heating, plumbing, electrical, general repairs.
Travel Requirements:
Compensation:
Varies based on experience.
