James D. Echtenkamp - Owner

James Echtenkamp joined GOLDMARK in January, 1990 as a partner and principal of the GOLDMARK Minneapolis Regional Office.

Following graduation, Jim served as a tax consultant for Touche Ross & Co. From 1983 to 1989 he was an attorney with Arthur, Chapman & McDonough, P.A. in Minneapolis where he became a shareholder in 1988 and a managing partner in 1989. Jim graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1978 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and from Drake University School of Law in 1981 with a Juris Doctorate.  He is a member of the Board of Directors for Private Bank, Minnesota, holds a real estate broker’s license in Minnesota and has been licensed to practice law in Iowa and Minnesota.
