Great Plains Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity 2018

The Great Plains Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in North Dakota and serves as the state’s only food bank. Operating in Fargo, ND in a 36,000 square foot statewide distribution facility, there is a great need for community support to ensure those who seek emergency food assistance receive help.

GOLDMARK sent a group of 6 team members to the Food Bank to assist in their daily operations. For an hour and half, the group packed a total of nearly 900 pounds of apples to be sent out to food pantries across the state to provide 725 meals for families in need.

We are excited to continue our support of the Great Plains Food Bank, and will be sending more volunteer groups this year.
