GOLDMARK Team Member Selected for Leadership Program

United Way of Cass-Clay has announced the participants selected for the 2019 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program. More than 200 applications were submitted. GOLDMARK's Marketing Assistant, Rayonna Hystead, was chosen as one of 35 women to participate in the 2019 program.

Rayonna joined the GOLDMARK team in August of 2013 as a Customer Service Representative. She went above and beyond her regular duties to develop our social media presence. In 2014, we started a customer feedback survey program which Rayonna was instrumental in launching.  In 2015, Rayonna was promoted to Marketing Assistance where she continues to show her talents in co-managing a website development project in addition to continued enhancements in the areas of marketing and communications.

The purpose of the United Way 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program is to mobilize the caring power of women, energize and inspire leaders to make a difference, and to deepen leadership opportunities for local young women. The program is designed to provide opportunities to build networks and strengthen connections to improve the quality of life in the Cass-Clay community. This year marks the 11th annual program, and since the program began in 2009, 350 local women have participated.

The participants represent a range of diverse backgrounds and industries and were selected to participate in this competitive leadership development program.The thirty five young women invited to participate in 2019 will meet each month and take part in six sessions focusing on various issues pertinent to young female leaders. Each session is led and presented by local leaders and includes topics relating to goal setting, communication, public speaking, personal growth, community leadership and philanthropy. The program is sponsored and coordinated by United Way of Cass-Clay.
