Do you remember those first-day-of-school jitters? What should I wear? Will I see my friends? Will my homework be tough? As you know, for some students, they also worry about having the classroom supplies they need to succeed.
Children right here in our community have that worry, and Goldmark is excited to launch an online school supply drive with the United Way of Cass Clay to help those in need! You can select the supplies you want to donate, or you can enter a dollar amount and they’ll pick the supplies for you. Just $20 fills a new backpack with the supplies students need to show up to class confident and ready to learn.
Donations will be accepted through July 21. Help us reach our goal: www.roonga.com/goldmark
Your efforts to support our local students make such a difference — for both students and their parents and guardians.
Last year, more than 6,000 students in grades K-12 in Cass and Clay counties started school with new a set of school supplies — confident and ready to succeed because of people like you. Every donation will help achieve UW’s 2020 goal of equipping 6,000 local students with a backpack and supplies for the first day of school this year.
If you or someone you know is in need of school supplies, check the United Way of Cass Clay website for distribution details to be posted once they finalize logistics.
