\nFargo team members took on the challenge to help Feed My Starving Children meet their goal of packing 2.5 million meals for hungry children all around the world in just 3 days at the Scheels Arena in Fargo.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to providing a donation to sponsor the entire event, GOLDMARK Property Management also sent 10 team members to aid in the physical assembly of packing meals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Team members loved the time spent working as a community with dozens of other area organizations. The Scheels Arena was full of excitement, energy, and it was overall a warm-hearted and humbling experience. Team members even found themselves singing to the upbeat music and laughing with other volunteers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT IS FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Founding in Minnesota in 1987, Feed my Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit hunger relief organization working with volunteers to produce MannaPackTM Rice, a scientifically formulated food formula that is culturally acceptable worldwide. Organizations in nearly 70 countries around the world distribute these meals to children in greatest need.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BY THE NUMBERS<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  • Each volunteer will packed an average of 216<\/b> meals which feeds a starving child for 7<\/b> months!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    o <\/span><\/span><\/span>With hundreds of other volunteers, we packed over 1,080<\/b> boxes of food, feeding at least 630<\/b> children!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    o <\/span><\/span><\/span>As a company, we contributed financially and in volunteer hours to supply 69,260<\/b> meals!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    o <\/span><\/span><\/span>The entire event, with the help of the entire community, packed 2.52 <\/b>million meals!!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
