Each year, all over the nation, the Salvation Army has thousands of volunteers ring bells in various locations including grocery and retail stores. In the Fargo-Moorhead area, bells are ringing 10,000 hours from November to December 24th.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In Fargo, 10 Team Members rang the famous bells for a few hours to help collect change for the Salvation Army at 3 Hornbacher’s locations in the FM area.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span><\/span><\/span>Fargo Salvation Army<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> assists the Cass and Clay County community in emergencies and offers a wide range of ongoing basic needs services whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual help without discrimination.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bell Ringers raise an average of $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night. The Red Kettle Campaign is an important fundraiser. Last year, the campaign brought in 61 percent of the total donations! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
