What Are Resident Rewards?

Resident Rewards is a points-based program available through your RentCafe resident portal. By signing up for eligible Renter Essentials services, you automatically earn points every month.

These points accumulate in your Rewards Marketplace, where you can redeem them for a wide variety of perks, including travel, entertainment, merchandise, and gift cards.

The program is provided at no cost to residents.

How Resident Rewards Works

Sign Up in Your Resident Portal

If you already use RentCafe, all you need to do is log in and opt into Rewards by selecting: Menu → Renter Essentials → Rewards.

Earn Points Through Renter Essentials

You earn points by enrolling in and using eligible services, including renters' insurance, internet, and other essentials.

Points can be obtained in a variety of ways. Examples include:

  • Having an active ResidentShield insurance policy
  • Bonus points after using certain services for 90 days
  • New sign-ups for eligible entertainment services

Access Your Marketplace

Your Rewards Marketplace lives inside your resident portal, where you can track your points and redeem them whenever you choose.

What You Can Redeem Points For

The Rewards Marketplace includes more than 1.5 million redemption options.

Available categories include:

  • Travel
  • Merchandise
  • Gift cards
  • Live events
  • Experiences
  • Entertainment

You can also benefit from brand discounts, local deals, and additional savings opportunities introduced through the expanded partnership with Kigo.
